"The tradition of drawing and painting the human form has been around for thousands of years and is still alive today!
We can all relate to the human form, it is what we are in body and spirit. With this in mind technical accuracy is important to me, however I also try to capture the feel of a pose and something of the character of the model.
I have studied the human form for over 25yrs, yet I continually find it a fascinating, absorbing and challenging subject to both represent and to teach!"
Having previously worked as a psychiatric nurse, Sarah is an advocate of the health benefits of engaging in the arts. She teaches a wide range of art and craft classes to students of all abilities in Further Education, Health and Community projects and privately.
Sarah works to commission and exhibits locally.
